About Me

Try the BEST MySpace Editor at MySpace Toolbox !Tumblebox, started life as two musicians frustrated that neither of them had found bands that wanted to succeed as professional musicians as much as they did. Tumblebox was born out of a love of diverse musical styles that never seemed to be played at any one gig, because they stretched so many decades. We made it our aim to cover songs from the early sixties right through to the naughties! Much as we loved arranging covers and enjoyed the challenge of putting an original twist to songs as classic as 'Purple Haze' (brave or what?!) We soon missed our joint passion of composing, and soon our sets incorporated original songs written in keeping with the style we had established with our covers! We now have over three hours of covers and originals and the list continues to grow! If you'd like to hire us for an event or need a composition for an advertisement or theatre or film production. Sounds Like: Anything You want really! We'll write what you want to hear, whether it's a jingle, a piece of film music, music for theatre, you name it we can do it!Our gigs tend to be gentle acoustic covers arranged in a unique way, and original songs that tell a story and create a mood, but we do that just because we love playing and because we wanted to gig a band that we'd want to listen to!We are a perfect accompanyment to a restaurant that wants live music or a wedding that wants something other than a string quartet but something that won't offend the ears of any age group!
