Your 1920's Name is:
Farris Washington
What's Your 1920's Name?
Jazz/DanceBands/ Folk/Novelty/ Western/Swing/ Blues/Punk/R&B/ ska/Etc. Pop music of 1900-1957 suits me best-- So many people, and so much talent from that era. When one hears a vintage performer for example, you might get some of the best elements of pure humanity and raw talent that seems to be so latent in today's recordings. Don't get me wrong, there's some great stuff out there for the Hi-Fi's, but I have collected old 78 RPM records all my life.. I was rather alternative before it was fashionable. I grew up during this so called "Classic Rock" era & found the music always sickened me. As a result, I was a bit out of touch with the heavy metal scene. Along came the naughty 90's & musically, things were opening up & interesting again. I picked up an old Banjolele & made the scene.. ah, penty O' dank & sweet filthy youngsters ready to experiment with their sexuality ... Erm.. I always go back to the vintage music & never get sick of it. Just when you think you have heard it all, there is always something "new" to disc-cover! Ukulele Ike Rules!
