Rogosonic is melody driven riff oriented rock laden with aggressive grooves and intricate guitar work. The music blends elements of heavy metal, blues and melodic rock.Guitarist Stephen Ross is no stranger to the scene. Back in the late nineties Stephen released the stellar Shrapnel debut "Midnight Drive" which put Stephen on the map as one of the best shredders around. His aggressive and flashy lead style has earned him praise from guitarists such as George Lynch, Richie Kotzen, Greg Howe, Bumblefoot, Rob Johnson, Guthrie Govan and George Bellas.Ron Cannella, the second guitarist, has also been praised by many including Bumblefoot and Rob Johnson. His command of legato techniques is quite amazing and gives him is own unique soundAn important part of the Rogosonic sound is the marriage of heavy and aggressive guitar grooves with colorful chord changes, quirky time changes and bluesy melodic vocal lines.Order direct from stephenross.comRogosonic is also joined by a few friends of the band: Joy Basu, Toshi Iseda and Rusty Cooley who all contributed some great soloing to the CD.A video of Stephen Ross back in the late nineties performing "Last Ditch Effort" off his "Midnight Drive" CD.
