About Me
Osei "The Dark Secret" currently commands the airwaves at DC's WPGC-95Jamz and Atlanta’s V-103 – The People’s Station. Osei (pronounced O-Say) joined The People's Station in March 2006 and has since made his presence known in the Atlanta market. In addition to being V103’s "Dark Secret", he is also the game day host at the Georgia Dome for the Atlanta Falcons. While working toward becoming a sports medicine physician, Osei's first brush with the airwaves came while attending Hampton University, working at their jazz station, WHOV 88.1FM. While interning at WPGC-FM he worked with the legendary Donnie Simpson and his morning crew, then moved up to overnights and weekends for that station and soon, he was hosting the coveted, sexy night show, Love, Talk & Slow Jamz. Not only has he been heard on radio in Philadelphia, Baltimore, Virginia, Washington DC and now Atlanta, as the primary male voice-over talent for BET (Black Entertainment Television), his polished baritone voice was heard by more than 64 million people in the national and international markets that BET serves. An international man of sorts, Osei was born in Kitchener, Ontario , spent his early years in his parents’ native country – Ghana, West Africa – lived in various U.S. cities, and loves to travel.Osei’s reach also extends to the philanthropic, forming The A to the A – a social, economic and cultural exchange program between the youth of America and Africa. The A to the A initiative's main focus is to expose students to elements outside of their "normal" community, encourage social awareness and promote community service. Through school visits, travel, multimedia journaling and interaction with respected community leaders on both continents, Osei plays an intricate part in an exchange that will dispel the negative imagery that is often associated with Africa.
