And thats where the street poet, via rap artist RYMI XO come into play. Perhaps due to the state of being the first child to be born of his mother, in addition to being the second to be born of his fathers four children, RYMI XO has witnessed life from diverse circumstances. Analyzing his troubled habits as well as having to observe hardships within the Atlanta community, XOs existing focus is to make life better for himself and his family. Being influenced by his cousin Nature Boy, has prompt the rapper to be a living sacrifice towards breaking the pigeonholes to which his native town and the South has been define. Not only does the rapper long to condense the stereotypes regarding his home state and the South in its entires, but he has far more of a yearning to revivify realness within the rap community in which he states there is a lack of. RYMI XO states that the rap community has lost its authenticity despite commercial achievements amongst its artists. Though success has its way towards major players in the game from the likes of Jay Z, Sean P.Diddy Combs, and Outkast, etc., XO has a concern to break the barriers of illusions in which viewers are fixated to when watching videos and listening to rap music. As he paraphrases it, one can be real and enjoyable in totality. Though having collaborated with fellow Southern MCs such as Kool Ace, DSGB, Sammy Sam, and several other Georgia natives, RYMI XO is ready to progress beyond his past successes and failures, which included resigning from his former label, Forever Fly Entertainment in 2001. Presently, first artist of Puttin On Records, which was formed by his cousin, Chris Kartye, XO is all set to take the music industry to a groundbreaking level.RYMI XO
