Born in New York, raised in the 909, educated at UCLA, I’m a blend of metropolitan, down-to-earth, and quick-wit. 9 out of 10 people agree that I’m outgoing, straightforward, and have a warm personality (that tenth person went to USC – if you’re a cute USC grad, don’t hold it against me)
I am a visual artist/writer currently residing in Los Angeles. My artwork: http://optichouse.com is about horror, sexuality, and emotional conflict. It’s about romantic and sexual power struggles. I use visual metaphors involving concepts of good and evil, fantasy elements (angels, devils, monsters, etc…), sadism and masochism. Though these metaphors, I explore the nature of outward and intimate conflict between beings. The ways in which we strive to dominate and control one another. The pleasure we give and receive from those acts, as well as the frustration and pain we feel when we resist or are forced to act in ways contrary to our nature.
