I'm a 19 year old drummer from Elverum in Norway. I started playing drums when i was about three years old. Got my first kit at the age of four (a small children kit with the Stray Cats cat painted on the bassdrum). I played my first gig outside my grandfathers music store at the age of seven, and I actually got my first real drumkit the next day. My father has always been a big influence for me, and we have been playing together since I was a small kid. We play together in a rockabilly band, (with a taste of punk and blues), called Built For Speed, with Ole Evensen on slap bass. We've got two records out on Flipside Records.
I'm currently a student on Trøndertun Folkehøyskole which is a great school by the way. Me and some schoolmates started a band there called ROSCO which has been my main project for the last four months and probably will be my main project for a long time! We have a myspace (www.myspace.com/rocotheband) where you can see some tourdates and listen to some songs, and look at our beautiful pictures;)
If I'm not playing drums in Built For Speed or ROSCO, you can find me behind the drumkit in bands such as Failed Abortions and State Kuban. I'm also doing some session work for a great electronica/pop duo called SIN.
If I'm not behind a drumkit, you can find me playing the guitar and singing in a band called Burning Days Of Silver.
