LEVEL 8

From the outer suburbs of Newcastle Australia,Level 8 originally formed as a five piece in June 2003. We worked hard promoting our original sound described as hard rock with a diverse mix of heavy riff groove fused with melodic layers. The past two years has produced ever evolving creativity and song writing, leading to the release of the demo "Too Late." In 2005 the creative process resulted in Level 8 becoming a four piece allowing us to approach song writing with a new perspective and maturity. The departing members having huge family and work commitment's. Over a eighteen month period all thing's LeveL 8 were constructed and then deconstructed to find the true essence of our sound, structure and overall style. This bring's us to our current line up of Chris Hix (drums), Mick Gray (guitar),Ben rudder (bass) and Brendon James (vocals). Live performances are always a priority to the band as we try to increase our ever growing fan base. The remainder of 2007 will be spent on the road spreading the word of LeveL 8 as far and as wide as we can while we prepare to hit the studio and record our E.P in june/july'07' with a video planned around the same time. The new recording's will hopefully showcase our potential to be one of the finest hard rock bands on the Australian original music scene....
