There's 3 kinds of people...those who can count and those who can't

About Me

Hey people. I'm Justin, better known as "Woody", a solo performer in pubs, clubs and venues across the south coast of NSW, Australia. I enjoy all types of music except country (I've tried, I just can't get into it). When I play for audiences, I try and keep up with latest material as well as the tried and true classics (except Khe Sahn, so sick of it!!) to keep everybody happy. I sing and play guitars live over the top of backing that I have created myself with a great attention to detail.Check out more details, gig guide and song list at www.woody-music.comCHEERS!!

My Interests

Music, my kids, pizza, football (the round ball one), music, chocolate, occasional sleep and more music.

I'd like to meet:

There's a list a mile long, most of them featured below in Music or Heroes. I'd also like to meet you... Come and say Hi if you see me at a gig sometime.

Music:

Movies:

All Monty Python...especially the Holy Grail, Highlander, Lord Of The Rings (all 3), Eddie Murphy - Delirious, This Is Spinal Tap, Star Wars (Ep.3-6), The Indiana Jones series, Ferris Buellers Day Off, Caddyshack, Blazing Saddles, Batman (Michael Keaton), The Adventures of Ford Fairlane, The Princess Bride, Pulp Fiction, The Lost Boys and many many many more...

Television:

Entourage, The Family Guy, Californication... most of the faves are comedies from years gone by, and I watch them on DVD anyway...The Goodies, Kenny Everett Video Show, The Late Show, Micallef Programme, The Young Ones, Scrubs, a bit of sport such as English Premier League Soccer (when it was on SBS) and Cricket.

Books:

Guitar Tab books when I try to play a song that I can't work out by myself. Favourite novel would be Lord Of The Rings, though. Read it a few times now. "1001 Albums you must hear before you die", "The Guitar Handbook", very informative. Both Pet Shop Boys books, "Literally" and "PSB versus America", very entertaining. Otherwise, I wish I had the time to read more.

Heroes:

My family/families, my friend Frank Joseph Parker III, Freddie Mercury/Brian May, Brendon and Clayton Zane (cheques in the mail, guys), Leo Fender, Glenn Hoddle, Steve Waugh, Tony Banks, Jeff Buckley, Lou and Andy, The Black Knight (it's only a flesh wound), anyone selling kebabs at 1am and anyone that can stand on their own two feet and take responsibility for their actions without blaming everybody else. I salute you all.
