About Me

We're a Limerick/Galway based metal band,
Shardborne first started in october of 04, when Eoin and Ciaran Culhane(Yes, twins),on bass and guitar, met Ben Wanders(drums) for the band they had with a friend. After nearly a year of playing covers and doing a few gigs. we parted ways with the singer, Eoin moved permanently to co-guitar with ciaran and started working on original material.
Soon Connor Curtin joined on vocals and when Ciaran met Donal Heavey in college we got him for bass. All went well for a couple of months until we decided to once again part with our singer, Connor, and got Mick Grace(also in college with ciaran and donal) instead. We finished a few songs played some great gigs and then the summer of 06 set in,
It was after this summer and a few more gigs around the country that Mick decided to leave Shardborne, we kept writing our own stuff and Diarmaid joined to fill in the vacant Vocal position, we've been working away for the summer with him and will be gigging with plenty of our own stuff soon so catch us Live

Sounds Like: A nice mix of our influences- we really try to push ourselves and do something a bit different
