DeathDestruction is a band from Gothenburg, Sweden, containing members from three different Swedish metalacts: Hammerfall, Evergrey and Dead By April. Formed in the end of 2003 by guitarist Henrik Danhage and drummer Jonas Ekdahl together with the keyboard player from Evergrey Rikard Zander (who was doing the vocals), everything started out as a real fun and innocent hobby project.
But it didn't took long before both Henrik and Jonas realized they wanted to continue writing this kind of music. They parted ways with Rikard, who thought everything started to get too serious for him anyway.
Within a near future Henrik and Jonas found bassplayer Fredrik Larsson and vocalist Jimmie Strimmell, who both where very excited to join the band. DeathDestruction had now turned from being a hobby to a real metalband.
