The Zone is an electronic music program that comprehensively covers every aspect of its field.It goes on air with Rome regional Radio Città Aperta FM 88.9 . It can also be found via Streaming by website www.the-zone.itHosted and created by DJs and producers from the Italian electronic music scene, this program, supported by information portals and electronic cultural sites such as: thegurufs.net and romastyle.info, aims to broadcast and promote work by musicians and labels belonging to any area of the electronic sphere (from techno to electro and break beat, experimental, through to deep, electro, minimal and acid).The staff of The Zone is interested in working with all distribution labels operating in their field of competence, so as to enable a greater exposure of new material to the public and to enrich their own panorama of knowledge.Further, The Zones staff is keen on interviewing both Italian and International musicians when they pass through on tourneé or when new albums come out, again, so as to satisfyingly update and inform the public of novelties in the electronic music field.The development of up to date networking systems, enables artists to send any material they want to promote through The Zone (such as new material, live recordings or DJ sets), directly to the radios editorial office, in MP3 format, thus avoiding the continual hassle of sending via the traditional postal system.
