now bikini bpm - since in 1999seven years it is almost already - in June, 1999, in a humid-happy round in Bremen, founded the free journalist Sandra Prawitt the techno booking agency bikini bpm. Small, but well it should be and thus started bikini with the international booking of Thomas Schumacher, Mijk van Dijk, Oliver Huntemann and other friendly artists. Many famous acts, under it Claude Young, Rino Cerrone, Thomas P. Heckmann or Adam Jay came, others went. For the one-woman's enterprise there were heights and depths, but with heart blood and the big passion for electronic music bikini bpm further struggled by the business jungle and set up, in the end, beside the big agencies. Then, finally, in 2001 there also was increase in the house bikini. As a DJ, web designer and label operator Björn Hornemann brought all qualities with himself, around the agency vigorously to supporten. Since then Björn is a steady and free component of bikini and looks since then after the harder faction of the bikini-artists. In 2004 bikini with own arrangements created an additional pivot leg and offers since then to innovative DJs a platform to present itself. The arrangement row BANGclub is promoted in collaboration with the Bremen DJ and producers Sebastian Kuhlmann and was distinguished by the women's service magazine Brigitte as the best arrangement row of Bremen in a lounge. The bikini philosophy was always to be it, as a booking agency as well as an organizer for artists and promoters a fair and personal connection as well as network and platform for new DJs and musical trends. Today after seven years bikini bpm stands for an exciting mixture of Techno to artists who can be called without doubt weight-bearing columns of that Techno culture as well as have young, to creative DJs and producers from all genres of electronic music. Whether Minimal, House, TechHouse or Elektro - for a long time the music was not so exciting in the clubs any more and was general. The borders between the styles disappear - what count is the idea and the rhythm. Artists like Tube and Berger and Goldfish + Der Dulz stand with bikini for this new development - crossover is anew defined here! We are glad with all bikini-artists, promoter, booker and business partners about many other exciting musical years!
