Sonic Saturation is a project established in 1999 by two polish musicians Proff (Katowice) and Jot (Wabrzych). At the beginning, fascinated with the music from behind the ocean, they started to cooperate with domestic hip hop - groups such as: Paktofonika, Wu Klika as well as 19 Poudnik. Later on they moved in the field of electronic music and started to create sounds in such climates as: ambient, idm / experimental, deep house, drum and bass and finally they issued their own compositions on various polish compilations. They composed music for films, PC-games and radio-spots.
They used to say they are rather producers than a music-group subjected to the certain music style. The music of Sonic Saturation - it is mostly ambitious electronic tone, their music is very close to atmospherically broken beats d`n`b but they also do not avoid more low-key and "subtle" trip-hop . On the other hand they aren't also afraid of sharp and harsh tones IDM, Braindance, or Experimental.
One of them, Jot, is also a dj and he's residenting in one of the Wrocaw clubs, Droga do mekki.
