I'd like to meet:
My name is Vickie, I'm 19 and I'm a Theology and Youth Ministry student at Nazarene Theological College in Manchester. Although I'm not quite as girly as this profile layout would suggest, I still manage to spend more time sewing and baking than the average grandmother. I reached a new low this year when I bought a trashy novel just because the flowery cover matched my bedspread.
Like most post modern hepcats, I manage to bridge the transition between worrying constantly and being suspiciously calm. I'm bitchy, shy, jumpy, vain, nervous and a general pain in the bum, but despite all this I'm still one of the most wonderful (and humble!) people you'll ever meet. In appreciation and recognition of this, I expect a lot of gifts from my friends.
I never thought I'd become one of "those people" who go on about being a Christian in their About Me, but I really do love God. I'm riddled with weaknesses and doubts, and I know there's still a lot of healing left to go for me, but I really do believe that God is working in me and making me more whole every day. I like it a lot.
I have a boyfriend called Rob who's pretty awesome. Not quite as awesome as me, but he puts up a pretty good attempt. He makes me incredibly happy and he's also very pretty, which I enjoy.
When I'm older I want to be a youth worker, train in counselling, do several MAs, become a masseuse, have several children, aquire joint nationality, write, do my teacher training and get paid to sew all day, although perhaps not all at once.
Vickie the Dictator is my blog. You can read it if you want.
The Oneday Cafe is my dear boyfriend's blog. He's a far better writer than me, so if the poor quality of my blog offends you, go to his instead.
Go Fug Yourself makes me happy. I told you I'm a bitch.
