Out of the midst of a stagnant rock scene, Avarice is here to prove that rock is
NOT dead. With the upcoming release of their second EP ‘AWAKENING,’ Avarice is
heralding a change in new music, and the forcing the industry to take notice.
From San Fernando Valley, CA, Avarice is Tim Gilmore, bass, Mark Maldonado,
drums, Max Fiedel, guitar. With their explosive sound and
infectious hooks, Avarice has gained notoriety around the U.S. by way of two self funded
tours. Midway through their second tour, they woke up one morning to find the van
gone… along with everything else they had. Without any transportation or equipment,
Avarice flew home with nothing but the clothes on their backs. They returned home only
to face an even bigger setback, the departure of longtime friend and singer Chris
Brereton. While many would have given up, Tim, Mark, and Max continued on, with a
renewed sense of purpose, finding themselves at their most prolific in their darkest hour.
Avarice is constantly pushing the boundaries
with their energy and their live show.
The music, the lyrics, and the intensity all take effect the second each song starts.
Instead of trying to sound like everything else out there and cheaply winning their fifteen
seconds of fame, Avarice has embodied the DIY work ethic, ready to earn the recognition
