Aside from my normal work, I'm a USC grad--Major in Music Industry, Minor in Business. I like to build my own gear and I've just finished building a studio in Downtown LA called "The Bakery"..Get it?
The studio was designed by Glenn Stanton and the angles and dimensions of the walls are all correct, which means that it's cooler than recording in your friend's bedroom. If you're looking for a great cheap studio with a big live room and lot of custom gear, I occasionally let other people rent it out.
I recently got engaged to my girlfriend Kathy, who's stuck it out with me for almost 9 long years.

My Interests

Music, Recording, DIY Gear, Shows, Sleeping, an occasional drink or 12.

I'd like to meet:

George Martin, Rob Cavallo, Other people that produce incredible records.

Music:

These are some of the bands that have changed my life in one way or another: Rx Bandits, Operation Ivy, Fifteen, old Rancid, Jimmy Eat World, Allister, Fugazi, Greenday, The Specials, Sublime, No Doubt, Slow Gherkin, Nirvana, TSOAF and probably a few more. There is other music I dig but that is not very interesting is it?

Movies:

Some of my personal favs: Swingers, Pulp Fiction, Josie and the Pussycats (trust me the movie is brilliant, if you don't agree, you just don't get it) Sixteen Candles, The Shawshank Redemption, PCU, Southpark (the movie) Office Space.

Books:

What are those?

Heroes:

Sir George Martin? I think the producer that gave us The Beatles is a good way to go. Go big or go home right? I'm going to leave Phil Spector out of it, if only for that hair.

My Blog

She said YES!!

So some of you knew and many of you didn't....I have been in Mexico (in Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo) for the last week. It was incredible...so much fun.More importantly, on the first day, I asked Kathy to marr...
