I'm a trouble-maker with an insatiable appetite for adventure. I'm a community builder, curriculum designer for alternative education programs and I work directly with youth who have a hard time fitting into the systems that surround us. I'm an eternal optimist and I am continually inspired by the potential of people to both heal and live rightly.I'm working on my Masters degree in Professional Communication, with a specialization in Intercultural and International Communication. It's a bit of a wordy program name, but I'm loving being back in University and being exposed to people who continue to inspire my desire to build skills and knowledge of how communication shapes the world around us. I feel as though the last 10 years of community development work has been vital to bring me to this place. I value experiential street knowledge over most theories, even as each can enhance the other.I live at the foot of a mountain in a beautiful post-and-beam home with my man and 13 acres of lush, mossy forest. Lots of animals and people and stars. Radness.
