My name is Maximus Jovi but you can call me joe, I was born on Oct. 5th in 1982.
My Mother and Father went to New York, from Sicily 40 years ago. They lived in Middle Village, Queens New York... did a few jobs with my cousins and then moved to Boynton Beach, Florida... then moved a few more times before staying in Delray, where I was born and raised. I went to Baynan Creek, Carver, and ATL... Where I was a pain in the ass to all my teachers, yet they all love me! I started writing poems, in middle school. I used to write and sell poems to friends for their girlfriends. I guess being italian, I have my touch with the ladys. I started writing songs in 97 as a hobby. Didn't take it serious till I started recording with Oscar in 99, when it was Dancaterium. Started with a few producers locally Ralow of Ranked Surpreme, Mike Lord, and I used to produce. Shit in the family started happening in the early 2000's, We found out my father had cancer. So i pretty much put writing songs on the side as a hobby, as I tryed to run the fam business. A few moves made, a few right deciditions, worked hard and i'm doing alright. I've learned that if you work "hard", life is alright....work "harder" and life is good. Well my father passed away on August 20th 2006, and life has been a rollercoaster. My days go by so quick I go from week to week. The only thing keeping me sane is music and writing. I make music, I drink, I party, I know how to have a good time. I be out on Atlantic Ave alot. You can ketch me at the new city limits or delux on sat night where oscar dj's. I've been recording with oscar for 8 years, yet I never pushed my shit on the streets that much, cause family comes first. Now that my fathers in a better place, i'm doing this for us....
