Listening to music, trying to play various instruments, failing at getting close to organising my longed for band. Meeting new people, talking about the old days or as I refer to them as the glory days. Thinking about smoking but not actually getting around to it (am a cheap skate and all that). Nothing much else that I can think of now, I will get back to you.
Interesting people who dont pretend to be all XsceneX and then when you get to know them they are all style and no substance. Like all the people jumping on the emo bandwagon, you know who you are. Where were you in 1998The only person I wanted to meet is sadly no longer with us, please all take a moment to remember the late GREAT Mr John Ravenscroft, or more commonly known as Mr John Peel. The greatest DJ to have ever lived. I owe my catholic taste in music to that man. Whenever I think of him I remember late (school) nights listening to his soothing voice urging me to discover new sounds and to keep my ears open to the possibilities of new types/genres of music. Later on in my life he filled many a boring car journey home from M'head after wicked cool nights at the Queens. Happy Days.I dont really want to meet anyone else, most of the 'famous' people I have met turn out to be quite boring. I much prefer to meet not famous people!Im always interested in chatting to anyone about bands, but bear in mind you must actually be 'into' them and not just wearing their tshirt because either you thought it looked cool or you had some gift vouchers to use up in H&M.

I don't have a particular favourite type of music, if I had to choose I would probably say emo, a great definition of emo would be 'Like a Goth, only much less dark and much more Harry Potter!' The bands I like (in no particular order) are: Weezer, Aiden, Reel Big Fish, Zebrahead, Zutons, My Chemical Romance, Fandangle, Anthony and the Johnsons, The White Stripes, Joy Division, Rancid, Angels and Airwaves, Dragonforce, Atreyu, Panic! At The Disco, Bright Eyes, Bloc Party, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Bouncing Souls, DEAD CITY STEREO, watch these guys they rock!! Air, AFI, The Academy Is, Rocket From the Crypt, Randy, The Hives, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Kaiser Chiefs (although I know i shouldnt!), Sixties music, Avenged Sevenfold, Fightstar, Simple Plan, Good Charlotte (first two albums only), Tom Petty, Death Cab for Cutie, Gogol Bordello, The Wurzels (well I am from Zummerset), Wolfmother, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Less Than Jake etc im sure you get the idea. One musician that eternally bothers me is Rufus Wainright, I dont get him, whats all the fuss about, if anyone can exlain him to me then get in touch.
The Killer, possibly the best film ever made in the Hong Kong/Kowloon area., not advisable to watch it when your in Hong Kong - can make one a little bit paranoid about guns being hidden in flower pots at the entrance to restaurants. Lost in translation, National Treasure, anything Tarantino, Drop Dead Fred, Narnia, Napoleon Dynamite, LOTR, Closer, Buffalo Soldiers, Naked Gun, The Faculty, Identity, The Lion King (dont give me any bullshit about the second and third ones being better because you know full well they were crap!) Anything by Kevin Smith but must admit im a bit of a Mallrats lover! Queen of the damned so camp it was excellent. The Indiana Jones Trilogy will never be bettered as a cannon of adventure romps (Pirates of the Carribean may be trying to better them but they never will, I mean how can Jack Sparrow compete with Marcus a museum curator, a man who gets lost in his own museum - quite frankly a legend). I love way too many films to detail here but the above gives you a flavour of my varied tastes.
Some sport TV is ok especially when its Wimbledon. Eurovision cannot be missed my eurovision night of guessing the political persuasions of the voters is a hilight of an otherwise boring month usually filled with exams :( The best TV show in the world today - Its gotta be Neighbours, that show can brighten up even the darkest day and make it suddenly sunny. Thin Ice, The Mighty Boosh, Phoenix Nights, Red Dwarf, 24, Fawlty Towers, The Brittas Empire, Shirley Ghostman, Freaks and Geeks, Boyz Unlimited and Rock Profile the two great comedy vechiles inhabited by Matt Lucas and David Walliams before they sold out to mainstream success with Little Britain, This Morning With Richard Not Judy- Stewart Lee and Richard Herrings Finest Hour worth getting up on a sunday for but why did the friday repeat have to be cut short? one of lifes eternal questions! Hustle, Midsomer Murders because it reminds me of the villages that surround my home - oh the intrigue and cricket whites.
All Quiet on the Western Front, The Darren Shan Saga, Anything by Bret Easton Ellis, Evelyn Waugh - Brideshead Revisited, Nick Hornby - High Fidelity, Ian Kershaw, Bernard Cornwell stuff. Plath, some international relations books.
John Peel, Jack White, Tim Henman, all the true believers, anyone who truly does what they love whatever the cost. All of my friends, "I've met some people along the way Some of them split some of them stay Some of them walk, some walk on by From all of these people I try to learn I've got a few friends I'll love till I die Some of them shine, some of them burn Some of them rise, some of them fall For good or bad I've known them all."
