I have five wonderful children and I love them very much
I have a granddaughter, Mia, who lives with her beautiful mom, Emmalie, who is a professional nanny. Emmalie is fresh and bright, and a wonderful mother.
My beloved and beautiful daughter, Amy, is headed for NYC and I wish her all the best as she works hard to make a career for herself on Broadway. She is talented, funny, musically gifted, a rising star, and a master of facial expressions. Her laugh makes me warm all over and she has an amazing sense of humor.
My beloved and beautiful Melissa is a wonderfully talented and sensitive girl with the most beautiful skin and hair, and the bluest eyes I have ever seen. She is witty and bright, and thoughtful, and gorgeous, and very artistically inclined, with a keen sense for what looks good in any room. She is interested in skin care, and I think she will do well as an Athetistician (did I spell that right, Melisa?
My oldest son, Patrick, is a handsome guy in the Navy and I worry about him. He's pretty distant these days, but time heals most everything.
My youngest son, Colin, and it seems like only yesterday he was a little guy. Now he's all grown up with a lawncare business, a wonderful girlfriend, Maranda (I hope I get to meet her sometime), and a life all his own. He is a terrific guy and I love him very much.
I am a member of The National Writers Union and the National Deans' List. I do freelance work editing author manuscripts and screenplays, I design Web pages, edit print media, design graphic layouts, newsletters and just about anything in print. I am passionate about photography and love to work in graphics. I also handcraft jewelery and hope to build a web site for a small business, where I can feature a few of my designs.
I am married to a Disabled American Navy Veteran who served in Viet Nam as a Medical Corpsman; he tried to save the dying soldiers, and worked to save the injured in the war. Rob holds a degree in Clinical-Psych Social Work. He is my best friend and my source of support when the world becomes painful.
I am the author of a book of poetry, but as all know, poets starve -- and all artists live from hand to mouth. It will never make the best seller list, but is a tribute to those who have touched my life, both good and evil.
"A good day ain't got no rain...a bad day is when you lay in bed and think about the things that might have been...slip sliding away...slip sliding away..." ~Paul Simon
To those I love...I miss you more than you will ever know...To those who hate me...I have only pity....to those who have forgotten me...I have never forgotten you...to my enemies: I have forgiven you."
