SoundMine

As cliche as it may sound, Natary and A04 met first at a club in Tokyo late in 2004 through a mutual acquaintance. He was looking for a foreign vocalist and A04 fit the bill. Though most Japanese musicians seem to have a different idea of what electronic music should sound like, A04 really liked the direction that Natary had taken in composition and the two began to make music.
A year later, SoundMine was born and had their first performance opening for the Swedish band Scapesonik as part of Swedish Style in Tokyo 2005....
Some time passed, but that initial performance sealed the pact between the two, and they have been concentrating on composing and recording for the first half of 2006, the results of which culminated in the Lost Within Myself ep release, which will be largely distributed domestically as the band concentrates the latter half of 2006 on their live performance.
That's basically it. SoundMine is neither dark and grotesque nor is it all happiness and sunshine. SoundMine makes no claims to be treading into new musical territories, nor are they even pushing their boundaries. At this point, there is still enough joy, sadness, anger, and frustration to tap into...
