Broken Leaf

I hurt flies.

About Me

"Hailing from Cardiff, he brought with him a selection of well thought out melodies, not too cliché lyrics and an incredibly powerful voice." - www.caughtinthecrossfire.com.

"I enjoyed the first two minutes then found him rather scary. He was like the kid at school you refrained from talking to." - www.ffaf.co.uk forum.

Broken Leaf used to be called Teflon Monkey. When he was called Teflon Monkey he did some cool things, like release an EP on Placid Casual records, played instruments on records by Gorky's Zygotic Mynci and Brave Captain, and did lots of gigs around the UK with nice people like Super Furry Animals and Mountain Men Anonymous.

Then the Teflon people said he couldn't use the word Teflon any more. Bastards. So he became Broken Leaf instead.

Broken Leaf hasn't done quite as many cool things as Teflon Monkey yet, but he did get to play a Green Man festival which was a lot of fun, and played other low key gigs around the Cardiff area.

Bands Broken Leaf has served time in in some guise or other: Silver Spurs, Cymbient, Stray Borders, Heck and Nameless. There maybe more, I can't recall right now.
He is currently concentrating on other bands but is still recording his own songs when he has the time. He would also love to hear from you.

Bands Mr Broken Leaf is currently playing in (apart from his own badass project):Vito Ratatosk The Secret Show Eugene Francis and the Juniors

Poor Me - Eugene Francis Jnr

Lovers - The Secret Show
