About Me

About the author She was raised with a strongly religious background. Despite her tendency to be shy, the charismatic nature of the church encouraged her to have a love for singing and poetry. Poetry has always been a way for Darla to express herself when words would escape her. She would write letters and poems to God at a very early age. Pouring out her heart in this manner helped her to deal with the harsh realities of life that surrounded her. Although, she went to college for medical transcription, later, she returned to school for accounting. It was during these last few years, encouraged by her family and friends, her poetry really took off and the idea of a book seemed less like a â€˜pipe-dreamâ€™ and more like a reality.I am a sensitive person. I love to write poetry and some lyrics. I have adventured into life full heartedly. I Look forward to finding friends that love to write poetry or music. I also would just like to have a lot of Acquaintances. It just seems to me that everyone seems to write and sing the same thing, just in their own words. So for now, lots of hugs to everyone. We all need a hug now and then.

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet someone that writes poetry and or song lyrics. I am working on a book that is currently at the editors office for final approval. The book is on poetry that I have written. I have met a lot of friends on here and I can say that everyone seems to write poetry or lyrics and some even write their own music. This just is really cool to me. It brings to me joy to read about others and there life and how they view things. So the best answer would be that the person or individuals that I meet would be writers of poetry or music and have books or songs already published or working on it. My love for Poetry is a very big passion. I love to meet individuals from all walks of life. I like to be acquainted with all and everyone that I can. Bloggs inspire my poetry and life. When people write, it expresses the true inner self of ones being. Hugs To All! Every one needs a hug now and then.
