Innovative songwriter/vocalist Orlandria Johnson, also known as Lann, is earning a reputation as one of the most talented
and versatile songwriters of today. As a young girl raised in the south, she admits jokingly that church attendance was mandatory never optional, and contributed majorly to her passion for all genres of music in which she writes. Lann's soaring melodies, intricate arrangements, and breathtaking chordal harmonies are combined with diverse influences that cast a memorable and lasting spell on her listeners. Her songs come alive with her ability to creatively craft lyrics portraying experiences and emotions we all can embrace and relate to. In addition to Lann's inventive songwriting capabilities, her vocal and other musical talents are in high demand as well.

When asked, What is It about the music industry that keeps her going? She replied, "Its not the industry. Music is my ministry, my purpose in life! It might sound a little crazy but Its my own little way of helping the world. I self start myself- motivate myself, and am inspired by the smallest things or mishaps. I represent change, ambition, and success. When I enlisted in the US Military (Army) in 2002, a ranking lieutenant once told me that failure and its existence is too often acknowledged by individuals. That statement, along with everything I was going through at the time changed my whole outlook in life. So to answer your question point blank, "The *music industry* provides me the opportunity to create business relationships, and to be compensated for the work I love to do. But, *music* provides me positive energy, hope, and therapy throughout my life everyday, so that failing is never an option for me! Orlandria Johnson (Lann), Kamau Washington (Mau), Cheka Washington (Chuck), and Melvin Lowery (Archeangel) are all uniquely talented individuals, but together they compose Ten 81.
The four of them met in Atlanta, Georgia, conveniently crossing paths on numerous occasions. Often times they would find themselves bumping into one another- whether at studios, music conferences, network meetings etc. The decision to work together was automatic and mutual.
