Rachel Row

Rachel Row grew up in a musical family, which makes it understandable that her interest for music started showing from a very early age. In 2004 she entered the National Music Academy in Sofia, where she studies Pop and Jazz singing, but her interests are not locked between these two genres. Rachel writes her own music and lyrics, mainly in English, although she has lived in Germany and Bulgaria. One of the most important people to help in her developement is her mother, Camellia Todorova, who is one of the most successful Jazz singers in Bulgaria. She is the reason for her daughters first on-stage experiences and later starts giving her lessons in vocal technique. At the age of 17 Rachel continues lessons with Camellia's vocal coach - Milka Dragneva. During this period she starts writing her own songs and working with DJ and producer KiNK. In 2005 Rachel writes two songs for her mother's latest album, Feels like... For the recording of the backing vocals for the album, she puts together vocal trio The Camelettes. Realizing that their personalities and voices match and harmonize, the girls decide to continue their work together.
