About Me

Howdy, I'm a guitar player from the Mornington Peninsula which is situated at the bottom of Victoria in Australia. Started strumming the strings when I was 13, though originally wanted to be a bass player. My parents finances dictated that I would get a $25 Audition electric with a knock-off bigsby tremolo (you can see one of these guitars in the Police's Synchronicity 2 video... Andy smashes it :o)). First jammed with Dr. Schnauberg around 1988 and thought I was pretty good, until his cousin Paul brought up that the good Doctor had only been playing for about 18 months. I use an American sunburst "P" series Washburn and an American sunburst Fender strat. (do I have a thing for sunburst? Nah!) and an Essex acoustic with an AGA Phase 1 pick-up. Have recently been playing guitar with a pub band called "4 Pete's Sake", a Wedding/Corporate band called "Rendezvous" ("ron-day-voo" for all you Shazza's and Dazza's out there ;o) and with a singer songwriter named Adam Wez-thorpe: Our project is called "The Alley Crawlers", check out all the myspace music sites. Or just click on the second, third or fourth friends in my top friends. Stay tuned...
