Remus Lupin

He called it my 'furry little problem' in passing.

About Me

Hello. It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Remus Lupin. I apologize if I seem a little unsure of myself. It's just that when I reflect on it, it's somewhat difficult to sum up my entire life's story thus far. So many strange, frightening, and wonderful things have happened to me. I suppose I should start off by saying that I am a wizard, and I reside about one mile away from King's Cross Station in London. I am a graduate of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and I also taught Defense Against the Dark Arts there a few years ago.
Though I do not often prefer to discuss it, I believe you have the right to know that I am a werewolf. I contracted the condition when I was bitten at a very young age, and since then opportunity in many aspects has not often knocked at my door. However, the extraordinary friends I've made and experiences I've had have helped me through my fears of the monthly full moon. I love spending time with my chums, and hopefully I'll find a substantial amount among this strange place you Muggles (non-magic folk) call "MySpace".
It may surprise you to know that I am quite a big fan of wizard candy... especially chocolate. Odd for a one-time teacher/werewolf, you may think. But I assure you, there are many beneficial properties in almost any sweet. You can try telling your parents that, but I can't guarantee they'll believe you.
Interested in learning more about my past? For that, I'd highly suggest a biographical story that a good friend of mine has been working on for quite some time. The story, titled Through the Eyes of the Werewolf, chronicles my sixth year at Hogwarts, and is very well-written (in my opinion). I hope you will be kind enough to leave my good friend a review or two if you do stop by, as he says it helps improve his writing. To read the story, just click the image below.

I'd like to meet:

I'd love to reconnect with friends from the wizarding world, and maybe meet a few new people too! If you'd like to send me an owl post, please make sure to read my... er... blog (that's what it's called, right?) on the matter. A friend who has had a lot of experience with this MySpace place was kind enough to write it up for me.

I can't say I've seen too many of those 'film' things Muggles enjoy, though I've heard they're quite interesting.

Oh, that silly thing. I do not have one of these in my possession. You won't find many wizards who do.

Heroes:

Albus Dumbledore for his forgiving nature, profound kindness, and never-ending wisdom. He was a huge loss to the wizarding community. May he rest in peace.
Sirius Black for his endless friendship, bravery, and determination to reach all of his goals and help those he loved. May he also rest in peace.
James and Lily Potter for their friendship and the amazing sacrifice they made for their son. May they both rest in peace and happiness together.
Harry Potter for his surprising display of courage in the face of the many dangers which came, and continue to come, his way. He never fails to tell me how much he learned from my Defense Against the Dark Arts class; there is nothing better for a teacher to hear.
Hermione Granger for her amazing mind and marvelous friendship. She has helped Harry and me many times. She truly is the "brightest witch of her age", as I like to call her.
Ronald Weasely for his bravery and friendship. Like Hermione and Harry, he has helped me many times, and he is one of my previous pupils who continues to utilize my teachings so well in his life.
Molly Weasley for finding the time to show kindness towards all around her in spite of her busy life.
Arthur Weasley for his skill and devotion to the work he does at the Ministry of Magic, as well as the equal devotion he shows to his family.
