OCT 2007 R.I .P
JUNE x2 2007
Our first OOP
demo/cd is now available via Gomek torrents! Click here now.
We have new gig dates. Also booked in to record later in the
year.ALSO, our track Dust in the Eye is going to be featured
on the Dead Pilot Records compilation cd; due out later this year.
JUNE 2007Unfortunately we
won't be playing the above show, Randall = glandular fever.
BUT please do still do go! The line-up is absolutely brilliant, help make these
great gigs more often in AY.MAY 2007Whats the deal with Hateheart? Well Mark left to concentrate on AMD, and
now we have Matt. We've got some new material and a new EP will be out around
about the end of the year. We did record 2 new tracks, but unfortunately SHIT
HAPPENS; the recording studios databases got wiped/crashed...so they are working
on recovery but it looks unlikely. Its a great oppotunity for us to get Matt up
to scratch, continue writing and hit the pubs again. So book us up.
Next show: June 2nd @ The White Swan Aylesbury THE BANNERS

THE
REVIEWSTHE GOOD: When I put this EP
into my CD player and started listening, I thought to myself, shit - Hardcore.
Whilst I have nothing against hardcore music, it can get very gay very quick.
Luckily I decided to stick it out, and for not being a real fan of hardcore,
this EP grew on me very quickly and was able to stay on the good side of
hardcore instead of drifting over to the faggy side. This 5 track demo
demonstrates how hardcore vocals can work to a bands advantage when the music
behind it is a good and solid sound rooted in death metal, with some excellent
drumming, inventive riffs and good vocals HateHeart should not be ignored like I
almost did. This is certainly a band I would like to catch live, if they put
half as much energy into live shows as they clearly have this release it would
be one hell of a show. Hopefully 2007 will bring another release from this band,
I for one would like to see them make it big. 8/10 by Toby http://www.borninblood.co.uk/review.php?id=47

THE UGLY: From the opening chord of 'Six Feet Above The Rest', it
is easy to guess exactly what HateHeart are going to sound like. In a metal
climate rife with average bands peddling the same old tricks, it'd be nice to
hear a band doing something different with a genre that once held so much
promise. HateHeart are not that band. Their guitar riffs are about as generic as
they come, following a 'chug, chug, tremolo harmony, pinch harmonic, chug'
blueprint in almost every song. The band owe a lot to The Black Daliah Murder,
who in turn owe a lot to At The Gates, so really, HateHeart are milking
third-hand ideas. The vocals, over the entirety of the CD, are abysmal.
Screaming, whilst not to everyone's taste, can be the most effective thing a
vocalist can do, providing it is done well. Hate Heart's frontman has a
powerless, monotonous scream that does absolutely nothing to achieve the
hard-hitting sound the band are going for. Couple all this with pretty bad
production and you have a highly expendable release. Avoid. Rating: 1/5 by Liam
