About Me


Mada aka Marius Dale started working at HS Records (probably the most important record store for dance music Norway has ever had) back in '95, and kept on selling vinyl for seven years. Formerly a big fan of hardcore rock, Mada found the same frantic energy in d&b, only it had so much more to offer.

He started dj'ing in 2000, and while checking out a lot of his other favourite genres until he realised that his heart belonged to drum&bass. His deep, dark and atmospheric sets continue to bring clubbers to Oxygen nights.

Mada thus decided to start Oxygen in 2000, and ran it on his own for a while. In a fit of delusional grandeur he decided to include all the other DJ's, producers and jungle heads he knew of in Oslo into his project. For some odd reason his plan worked out —unifying and strengthening the Oslo scene.

These days it's all about building scenes,scaffing, rigging light and sound + working at norways best music hall - Rockefeller.

My Interests

Back in 2000 when there was no organized Drum and Bass concept in Oslo Mada came up with the brilliant idea to start Oxygen. He brought in Teebee and Sketchy (Rawthang) as residents DJs, and booked some of the biggest names in dnb.
The night was off to a flying start, and people and press both seemed to love the vibe that Oxygen offered. The first season of Oxygen won the award for Oslos best clubnight of the year, which was an accomplishment in a city mostly mostly known for its disco and trance nights !
