About Me

Rate my poem, Go hereSimple yet complicated, easy going & stubborn, an attention-seeking modest, an introverted socialite, a succinct tower of babble-on, an apathetic activist, a spontaneous planner, a sarcastic honey-tongue, unsystematically organized, narcissistically unselfish, and a worldly sanyasi, basically, I'm an oxymoron :)

My Interests

capturing the Kodak moments, writing my life away, acting on the stage of life, and questioning everything

I'd like to meet:

I'm in search for a Manly-Boy with a Brain of Platinum, a Heart of Gold and a Soul of Diamonds. So forget Prince Charming on his White Horse, and forget Aladdin on his Magic Carpet; I'm looking for my Shrek on his Annoying Donkey, and live with him compromisingly ever after :)And women who are bitchy but not catty... I'm a dog lover, what can I say.

Music:

Reggae, Disco, Pop, Hip Hop, Oldies, Punk Rock, Heavy Metal, Bhangra, Salsa, Folk Songs, Country, Arabic/Persian/Middle Eastern, Classical

Television:

The Food Network, Seinfeld, Fraiser, Friends/Joey, The Ali G Show, Everybody Loves Raymond, ER, Three's Company, Married with Children, The Simpsons, The Muppet Show, Scooby Doo, Scrubs, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Sex and the City, Commander-in-Chief, Real Time with Bill Maher, Who wants to be a Millionaire, The Family Feud, Jeopardy, The History Channel, The Discovery Channel.... I guess most shows I like are now syndicated and in re-run mode :)

Books:

Lord of the Flies, Catcher in the Rye, 1984, The Da Vinci Code, The Alchemist, Hocus Pocus, A Suitable Boy, Interpreter of the Maladies, Jonathan Swift's "A Modest Proposal," and of course, most of the classics (Shakespeare, Poe, Chaucer, Bronte sisters, Austen, etc.), and Sher and Gazals of Mirza Galib and Kaifi Azmi

Heroes:

Every person teaches me a different life lesson :)
