I love all kinds of movies, but my favorite genres are musicals (like Moulin Rouge, My Fair Lady, Chicago, Guys & Dolls, Oklahoma, An American in Paris, Singing in the Rain, White Christmas, Kiss Me Kate, Gigi, The Sound of Music, High Society and the list goes on), teen girl flicks (The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Real Women Have Curves, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, etc), and romance, whether it be comedy or serious (Pride & Prejudice, Return to Me, Two Weeks Notice, The Princess Bride, A Knight's Tale, The Wedding Planner, Keeping the Faith, French Kiss, The Philadelphia Story, His Girl Friday, Pillow Talk, Truly-Madly-Deeply, Always, My Best Friend's Wedding, Runaway Bride, yadda yadda yadda).
They leave out radio, so I would like to give a little shout out here to my favorite radio man, Glenn Beck!!! I am a sick freak and love my Glennie (cue martini music). Awww Yeahhh! Favorite TV Shows? Obviously Heroes!!!!, Gilmore Girls, Ugly Betty, House, How I Met Your Mother, Studio 60, The Class, Dawson's Creek, Will & Grace, and I'm sure there's more but my brain is done after coming up with movies.
My bible is like a person to me, I read it and hold it close like a really good friend. I also enjoy almost any Nora Roberts book (there are two definite exceptions), Janet Evanovich, Jean Auel, Jannette Oke and one of my absolute always favorites, Diana Gabaldon! If only she came out with more than one book every three years... sigh...
Not me, you know... The mother of Christ. I chose my name when I was three years old and I wanted it to be Mary because of her and I still want to be like her. She was able to take on faith something that was completely impossible and that is what I strive for... to truly believe in the face of completely insurmountable, seemingly impossible obstacles. And she had to be a pretty good mother to be hand chosen by God to take care of her son and I want to be a good mother someday.
