About Me

2006 was a big year for MATTer of PHATT. After a string of smaller gigs playing a range of styles including house, breaks and drum and bass, he discovered a new local phenomenon known as Delta Connection. This helped sculpt his style into the glitched up nu-skool breaks sound that he is so well known for. Since then he has stood by the Delta Connection sound and has been helping run the successful nights in Canterbury for 2 years along-side head honcho Damn Right. As a producer he uses the dance floors reaction to different tracks to improve and further his own current productions, which have been tested on the crowds of Kent for over a year, with great response. 2007 meant stepping up a gear with some amazing head-liners joining us at Delta Connection including Far Too Loud, Robosapiens, Mr Sushi, Porno Breaks and Phat Pilgrim Records. A String of bookings then followed from various party crews after Delta Connection features as one of the top 5 up-coming nights in London and the South-East in IDJ magazine. Artists and Crews he's worked with include Krafty Kuts, Liquid Records / Little Green Planet, Misztified Mindz, Fling Records, Babyshake, Technophobia, D-ranged and Rektchords, Basslick and A9ent 0ran9e. Since running the second room at the infamous Tunnel NYE party, Delta Connections prospects just keep getting better with our biggest event to date: Breaks On The Beach ,at a 500 capacity venue on its own private beach with head-liners Far Too Loud, Liquid Djems & Mary Miss Fairy and A9ent 0ran9e, with an exclusive set from MATTer of PHATT, playing a whole bunch of original, unheard tracks from a variety of producers and collaborations.
