uTI is based around the concept of not only bringing quality outside DJs to the city of Sheffield, but showcasing the talent that Sheffield has to offer to the rest of the world. Until now, too much safety has been shown by promoters with the DJs they book, and the consequent drop in focus on Sheffield's nights around the rest of the musical world is clear for all to see. uTI repesents the original electronic sounds being created within the city from the pool of genuinely talented artists that reside within our famous seven hills.
We believe that what truly takes a night/event to the next level is having a sound/vibe that you can truly call your own, and big names on their own cannot achieve this. We feel that it's time to start reminding the world that Sheffield's not just where the Arctic Monkeys live but a city that is rich in creative talent.
