I'm not a hero...I'm just a coffee shop manager.

About Me

I cannot be, nor do I want to be defined. I like being elcectic, taking the best of all worlds and putting it in my own. Stereotypes were meant to be broken! My mantra: Get busy living or get busy dying. Choose a life of uncompromising freedom of choice never settling for diluted or second rate gratifications. I don't believe in keeping up with the Jones. Fuck the Jones. I value great experiences over material possessions. But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate the things I have. I try to not let things I own end up owning me. I enjoy priceless experiences like sitting on Pont des Arts and watching the sun set, or hanging out in Jardin Luxembourg and feeding little birdies and observng life. I like entertaining the idea of giving up everything in order to be completely free to do anything. Only fools feel validated by driving expensive cars, hanging with trust fund children, and being on the VIP guest list. How predictable and soul-less. Spiritual, philosophical and creative accomplishments are so much more worthy of my respect. I believe constant mindless consumerism hinders self-realization and resourcefulness. "What are words for, when no one listens, there's no use talking at all." "Enjoy the silence."
You Are A Realistic Romantic

You are more romantic than 70% of the population. It's easy for you to get swept away by romance... But you've done a pretty good job keeping perspective. You're still taken in by love poems and sunsets You just don't fall for every dreamy pick up line! Are You Romantic or Realistic? ..

Television:

With all those channels out there you would think there were more shows with substance on tv, but tv pretty much sucks. I pretty much watch movies and news including BBC news, French, Italian, and German news. And how can I leave out Jon Stewart's Daily Show? I always end up resorting to Discovery Channel, History Channel, Food Network, Fine Living Network, TCM, National Geographic, and Animal Planet. I absolutely love travel shows on Travel Channel like, Globetrekker (love Ian Wright), Passport to Europe and especially No Reservations. Anthony Bourdain fucking rocks! And thank you to OLN for full coverage of Tour de France and Speed Network for Formula One! But then I have my days when I watch all that mindless crap too, when I'm too tired to think. Ah...tv...a major contributor to the dumbing of America.

Heroes:

Those who believe that altruism isn't dead, it's just waiting to be rediscovered. Those who would never compromise their integrity. Those who prevent ignorance from breeding hate and fear. Those who abandon the ego for inner peace. Those who are constantly resilient from adversity. Those who value human dignity over money. Those who risk their lives to fight injustice. All the amazing artists in Cirque du Soleil who bust their fucking asses to do what looks humanly impossible, especially Asa Sokol Kubiak and Jérome Le Baut performing the Vis Versa in Quidam. Absolutely mind-blowing! And finally, those whose passion is a force to be reckoned with: .. .. ..
