MELEYAN "THE DON"

The saga begins in Champaign Urbana with the birth of a soon to be brilliant superstar street named Meleyan aKa The King Of The City. Being predestined to greatness, his father would hold a young Meleyan up towards the heavens and exclaim “A King is Born!”
Unfortunately, after losing his father at age 1, his family relocated to Chicago, IL. While in Chicago, circumstances made it pertinent for his family to move from one area to the next, this young star attended many schools which enabled him to take advantage of many of the school’s talent shows and contests. Many friends and family recognized the talent this young man possessed. Performing in front of others seemed to come naturally. Upon hindsight, Meleyan would state that “From early in life, I knew that becoming a rap artist was not only my dream but my DESTINY!” After a short stint in college, Meleyan soon found out that college wasn’t for him. He knew that to in order to fulfill his dream, he had to give it 100%. He decided not to return to college the following year and devote all of his time to his destiny of becoming an infamous rapper.
Meleyan is a rough street savvy wordsmith with a golden voice. Say it out loud, Meleyan (mill-ee-on). Remember that name, because it will soon be a household name. Some say, his style is from the same mold as 2Pac, but with its own distinct flavor. Others say that his style of rap is different from other artist because he brings swagga ,versatility, delivery and energy like none other. He says, “You be the judge.” With a never ending archive of rhymes and substance, Meleyan a.k.a. The Don will be around for many years to come. His motto is and will always be to…”Show & Prove”.
