{=-0} - Equals Minus Zero began as a Multi-Media Artists Collective located in Chicago, Illinois in the U.S. in 1981 and have worked under many different names - In addition to their prolific back catalogue of self released tapes, vinyl LP's and Compact Discs (all limited and currently out of print) - Their Music has been used in Indie Film and live Theatrical Performance Art pieces.
{=-0} also provide Ambient Soundscapes for small gatherings, Gallery Receptions etc. and can expand their line-up to fill large stages at clubs and halls using their more "song" oriented material.
Presently they are working on a six part cycle which will be simuntaneously released on six seperate discs this Fall '06.
While all of the Members of {=-0} are involved in various Artistic projects outside of {=-0} they consider {=-0} to be their their home base.
They also own and operate a Gallery/Theatre in Chicago called "The Ninteen Hundred & One".
