MY NEW & FAV PHOTOGRAPHY IN ONE PLACE

To begin, my name is Brett: I love long walks on the beach at sunset...sorry, but I won't be walking with you hand in hand, I'll be taking photos!(ask Jaz...sorry babe!) I began taking photos about 2 years ago when I was working in the outdoors full time. I don't think I developed my eye for photography until just recently - you know, when you look up at the sky in the afternoon praying for the perfect light, or walk past a fallen log in the river and wonder if you had your camera should you shoot it in black & white or colour and how you can frame it...some of you may know what I mean! I just find that when I'm with my camera by myself down the coast with an AMAZING sunset, its just great to get the perfect shot. I have a bit of a passion for photography, as you can see in my pics page...At the moment I have a new Sony DSLR-A100 with just the standard lens package. (18-70mm)and NOW I have a new Sigma DC 10-20mm! I have only had the camera since Oct 06, never had lessons or a SLR camera before, but I seem to take a few good shots, feel free to tell me what you think. Beginning to build a bit of a portfolio of my photos, the next step is to print and frame them, and possibly sell them for a bit of pocket money - or to fund and additional purchases of camera equipment.

The whole reason why I started this myspace page was because I thought that it would be a good way to show my photography to a wider expanse of people, photographers, friends, family and the general public. I have meet quite alot of outstanding photographers and people who enjoy taking the odd snap - and many old friends and family members who I never realised would ever do this.
