Radio Show: Eclettica @ RockFM (Milano, Italy)
Hosted by: Giulio Caperdoni
On-Air Schedule: Monday to Friday - 7 PM (GMT+1)
Eclettica is committed to brand new music,
that is the most innovating, the most peculiar, the most strange sounds of the
worldwide rock seen from a broader point of view, without forgetting to
discover again the old forgotten masters.
Eclettica mainly focuses its attention to
the emerging artists, promoting a wide range of indies and
young bands demos.
Eclettica goes beyond unpredictability to
become a no-time, no-space show: it’s pure music synergy from all over the
world.
The following two e-mails from two listeners
will help understand more about Eclettica
“Can you remember when as a child you
would open a chocolate egg and find a brand new surprise? Your program takes me
back to that state of mind. It is like a music wonderland and your choices are
always unpredictable yet reliable. You always manage to pull something
surprising out of your hat, old or new, away from the mainstream. The end of
each piece creates expectations for the next, expectations that are always
fulfilled beyond imagination. I can listen to music that gives strange
vibrations and that may be forgotten but cannot be listened to anywhere else or
ever again.
In an odd sort of way Eclettica is a lab
made up of crazy “sound†scientists creating new and original chemical
compounds.
Eclettica is not a background sound. You
must stop, interrupt your task, make yourself comfortable, turn the volume up,
switch off the light and start your journey.
It’s the right program on the right
radio.â€
“...It was like finding something I did not know I was looking for...And then one night, completely out of the blue, the music of Eclettica. Its music was totally different from everything else I had been listening to before. I simply listened to 2 songs; I had a very strange feeling, something that pushed me to deny my whole CD’s collection. It couldn’t be like that ...It wasn’t like that, simply I reached an higher level, a further step ahead. I still like what I listened before Eclettica, but I feel different sensations, an emotional link to the past. And as far as you were concerned, I did not know whether your were a brave madman, a charming alien or a person particularly sensitive to music. Now I know: all of these things together!â€
