TVA Parks

I am from Bloomfield, New Mexico, but I live in Las Vegas, NV. I do music, marketing, TV, and radio. I host a TV show called Bumpdat Video Mix Show on UPN every Sunday morning at 1am. Working on my Album in the studio now. Formerly started at age 5. Professionally started at age 12 in the recording studio. Performed all over New Mexico any event you can think of such as Martin Luther King Day, Junetenth, and many more. At age 13 signed my first contract to do Professional amphitheatres and theatrical plays. That started a run for years till I was 18. Plays like Man of La Moncha, Grease, 7 brides for 7 brothers, South Pacific, and much more. At age 14 promoted my first concert. After that one many more concerts have been done by me throughout the United States. Right after graduation I went on a trip to LA to shoot a pilot show that never hit TV. Mann...My life is crazy I then worked with a lot of independent companies and landed one good job with Nikkia Productions. At the age of 19 I just got to go on a 2 day road trip with the Faith Evans tour, just landed a VP job at a production company with full benefits (if you know what I mean). Then a new company took me away from Nikkia Productions and I landed a COO job running an Independent Record company (Big Houze Records) and Recording Studio (Studio 3) in New Mexico. Ran that for 2 years and also won a New Mexico award for Best R&B artist for 2000. Last concert I did was in front of 10,000 people and I shared the bill with another artist. I also Model and I competed in allot of pageants such as Hawaiian Tropics and many more. I also had a TV show in New Mexico called the TVA Parks Show and went to a trade school for field and Studio production. I host parties and still do till this day at Kentucky Derby, All-Star Weekend, parties, talent shows, such as the station Power 88 talent showcase, and many more events to name. I also host mix tapes and do voice overs for many people and stations. I got a chance to do a voice over on the Boys II Men tour and also got to do a little road trip with them. I got to go on another trip with Prince as well. Now I live in Las Vegas. Vegas seemed to be the market for me and now I know it is. I moved here in 2001. I moved here because it was close to LA for recording music and the rent was cheaper. I did not know a soul in this town and landed a gig with a TV show called Las Vegas Blvd. TV show. I hosted that for 1 1/2 years and recorded music on the side with the promotions I do. After the TV show the show was sponsored by a radio station called V108 and that's how I got into radio. I was the promotions/program director assistant. For V108 hip hop and R&B/switched to old school and today's R&B and I work with Tom Joyner on his cruise maintaining stars. Also worked at Wild 102 hip hop and R&B station as an air personality on weekends and was one of the hosts the Wild 102 TV show. Put my 2 weeks notice in and now I am back on my music. To release all the songs the world has not yet heard, but some. I now am hosting a TV show with Bumpdat Video mix show on fromly UPN now Vegas TV was every Sunday morning at 1am and Now WE CHANGED THE TIME TO EVERY SUNDAY AT 12:30am and now I have ownership too.(So that's cool) I also am the Events mgr. of NABFEME Las Vegas. So watch out for some events in the works now. I just finshed working on a new comedy show that showed every Wed. in Las Vegas, NV at the Fitzgerald's Hotel and Casino with Micheal Coylar and Mike P fromly 97.5's morning show. I just formed my Production company Johnnie Parker Productions (named after my father)and now I am actually doing my album which I started working with Sauce and he is amazing in producing so watch it..YES..I love being back in the studio doing what I love to do. I love comedy, acting, hosting and I love singing on stage, but I am also a business women with allot of business deals happening.
