Plug Action

Plug Action began in 1998 as an email newsletter of events within the NYC / NJ area between a limited number people. Type of events that were listed were mainly open mics, battles, & underground HipHop showcases. As the demand increased for this information to be circulated, Plug Action partnered with Graphonic.com to launch a website. With the launch, weekly email updates were still being sent consistently. Plug Action worked with many labels, venues, promoters, & artists within the HipHop community to conduct various contests which included tickets to shows, clothing, magazines, & cd's to name a few.
Plug Action took a pause and refocused on its ideas and future goals. With the many emails that are received, there is still a demand for the information that Plug Action is best known for. There are many publications and company's providing information, but one thing that is for sure is that Plug Action is highly respected for its consistency and dedication to its people.
Plug Action has now published its first print newsletter titled "Sessions Reflecting the Grind" with a release for this Summer. The newsletter will be distributed in print people in the NYC / NJ targeted market areas and will be available through various outlets within the community. It will consist of interviews, reviews, articles & top events. Be sure to check for the Plug Action representatives.
