About Me

♥ I was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi but have traveled my whole life. I have always loved Tennessee so I was happy when I was offered a job here so I could finally settle down & plant some roots. I have worked in Nuclear Power my entire adult life. ♥ I married a very loving, sweet and caring man September 2, 2006. His name is ♥♥ Matt Gerken ♥♥ and he is the love of my life. We are trying to start a family! He has a 6 yr old son named Isaac, My stepson to whom I adore!! I have 2 brothers. One older, one younger. My mother still lives in Mississippi and my dad passed away suddenly with cancer in 2000. He was my best friend and had the greatest heart and he was also the best artist ever. I have 2 dogs (see below!) that I love with all my heart and soul!!!
♥The things I love are, first & foremost Jesus Christ ♥ who died on the cross for me. My family, my wonderful husband ♥ my friends, all animals, shopping, I love music, magazines (I collect old & new), long baths, computers, cookie dough (yummy), working out, thunderstorms, romantic movies, dates with my hubby, reading, writing (even if it's not the best!), helping others & helping animals, honesty, pajama's (so comfy), college football (UT & LSU), concerts, make-up, jeans, fashion, pedicures (a must), spring, flowers, pink, Victoria's Secret (I can spend a fortune), sunsets,sunday newspaper, poetry, Japanese restaurants, seafood..Shrimp PO-Boy baby! People that make a difference in this world, and of course, love. We would all be lost without it. ♥
My dislikes are, cruel people, abusers..if you have to hurt something, why don't you just hurt yourself? And why don't you pick on someone your own damn size? All you abusers are heartless creeps. Anyways, liars(annoying)!!! judgemental people, raisins, winter, scary movies, dirt or clutter, Math, drugs, people who blame others for their mistakes or unhappiness. Polyester!!! I have to put slippers on when I get out of the shower because I hate the way carpet feels on my feet!! Weird, I know! I'm sure there's more likes & dislikes but of course my mind is blank so I will add on if I think of any!! That pretty much sums me up. Any more questions, just ask ! ♥

♥ SHOPPING!!!! I love Juicy, Coach, Roxy, Hollister, A&E, Just about anything! Working out, movies and my dogs. I'm a huge animal lover. I support Pet abuse.com in helping pass tougher laws against any creep that hurts an animal."Our lives begin to end the day we stop caring for things that matter".♥

♥ From Kid Rock to Tim and Faith. I also love Elvis Presley. He is from my homestate (Mississippi). My fiance and I went to Graceland new year's eve. It was a blast. We both love Elvis. We stayed at the Heartbreak Hotel at the end lonely street. Oh yeah, Nickelback, Cold, & Hinder kick ass. Love, love love music! And Jimmy Buffet is from my hometown also!!! ♥

Entertainment Tonight, Saturday Night Live, A&E, History channel. I also like sports. Go UT! I love American Idol. Matt and I can't wait for next season.

Books:

♥ This is one of my dad's paintings. He painted all the time and was the best. He had prints made and here is a copy. ♥
