I went to my first open mike on April 26th, 2007 and fell in love with stand-up comedy...I can't recall a time I had ever been so happy...well, except when I won the 3rd grade spelling bee...I put my comedy career on hold for a while, but have started working on new material and am anxious to get back on stage...I told my mom I'm going to be a comedian instead of a psychologist as planned and this was our conversation..."Well Beth, did you pray about it?"..."Yes Mom"..."And what did the Lord say?"..."He said, "Why do you think you're still single, can't keep a job, and been treated like crap by men all these years? Did you think you went through all that for nothing? Write about it and go get 'em babe."
I love french pedicures...I say I'm classy, but I think I might be slightly redneck...I love to sing 80s music rather loudly in my car...I act impulsively at times...I have 3 tattoos and I don't even like tattoos-hence the impulsive behavior...I could eat Subway everyday...I love buying my turtle 20 goldfish and watching him bite their heads off...I have so many books that I am considering starting my own library...I can make a mean grilled cheese sandwich...I like to go camping-in an RV...I ask tons of questions, some find my inquisitiveness rather annoying...I have a thing for musically-inclined guys...I love NASCAR...I pray constantly...When I make a cake, I always eat half the batter...My sister met her husband on eHarmony so I decided to sign up to meet Mr.Right-I want my $50 back...I love God...I have a very eclectic taste in music..same goes with my taste in men...I like to take spontaneous trips-I once took off to Memphis at midnight and drove through a snowstorm...Most days I don't wear makeup...I love caramel frappuccinos...I'm attracted to brainiacs...I either sleep way too much or way too less...I have awesome friends...I love going to Krystal at 3AM...I don't understand why people bring babies to the movies...I love going to concerts...I listen to Delilah...I love watching COPS and singing along to the theme song...I've had a passport for 6 years and still no stamps...I love playing my guitar and attempting to write songs...I just finished my first song entitled "Don't Be a Stranger"..it's like one of those country booty call songs...But then the guy I wrote it about got hitched so I rewrote it and turned it into a parody called "Please Be a Stranger"...the single should be coming to a Wal-Mart near you soon...I love working out, most days...I love towels fresh out of the dryer...I usually speak before I think which has almost got my ass kicked numerous times...I wanna fall in love...I wanna feel that rush...Runnin' into my heart...Shakin' up my soul...Feelin' like I've never felt before-Oh, my bad, that's a song...I was gettin' a little carried away......And one more thing...please don't send me a message saying how hot I am and to "holla" at you...I know I'm hot and my "holla" days are over.
