Anything by Dashiell Hammett, Bret Easton Ellis, Adam Davies, Jason Starr, or Cornell Woolrich. Jay McInerney, David Ellis, Howard Roughan, Jennifer Belle, Sara Gran, and Bruce Wagner are also favorites. And of course, Phil Gordon's poker book. I just read Jennifer Belle's new release, Little Stalker. It is fantastic and should be required reading for everyone.
