The Unit Theory-- Zeppelin Theory May 10th

The Unit Theory formed in early 2006 when Jim and Ryan started jamming in jim's basement. A member search ensued and in stumbled Erik Norman, a bass thumping, gator wrestling, swordsman from the south (well southern Dekalb county, anyway...). Months of jamming followed and Jim got a call from Joe, a half Koala half cougar hybrid. The first Theory was held at Joes house on August 12, 2006, and dozens have been had since then. Playing a new kind of eerie, funky, high energy progressive rock that when listened to, one can hear many varied influences. However The Unit Theory has a sound uniquely their own. Their experience, talent, showmanship, and hard work have led them to be one of the premier local bands on the scene. Live shows are all unique, and songs can change from one night to another depending on mood, venue, and overall feel of the audience and their energy. A show certainly not to be missed... ***This is NOT how we got our name, but it is funny***Pleasure Unit Theory: People organize their lives to get their minimum required units of pleasure. While individuals vary in terms of how many units of pleasure they need, everyone is striving to reach their personal minimum.***That is NOT how The Unit Theory got their name. Keep that in mind.***
