I'm a very outgoing and adventurous person (at least I try to be, even when I'm not drinking!). I'm a huge animal lover which is why I work at the Bronx Zoo & ASPCA. I've owned various animals: 4 horses, dogs, cats, reptiles, gerbil & guinea pigs, birds, snakes, newts, etc. I've also sponsored a Norwegian Sperm Whale, an Orca, & 2 grey wolves from the Sawtooth pack in Colorado. I would love to run my own animal refuge center someday.
I volunteer at various dog & cat rescue groups. I've also volunteered at a Bird of prey nature center where I work w/ raptors, and 2 wolf rehab centers, where I worked w/ diff wolf packs. I've also been involved w/ the Mohawk Valley Native Americans in upstate NY, helping w/ horses & building houses. So I love Paleontology among other olgy's. Below is a cool pic of 1 of my fav dinos. No they're not velociraptor's as Jurassic Park claimed, they're actually Deinonychus. This would've been too hard to pronounce for all you movie buffs out there so Spielberg just went w/ V. Raptors. I don't blame him!
I've been in love. I've also been hurt many times as I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve & do laundry often. I believe there's many Mr. Right's/true loves out there, though the Mr. Right nows are just as great (in a non-sexual sense).
I have a huge mixed family. Directly I'm Black, Shawnee Indian (Freeport, LI is where there are tribal PowWow's every year in August), Creole (French), and Irish (from Kilkenny Ireland) mixed. My family has all of the above & some Japanese, Burmese, Russian, German, other Native American.
I teach myself languages but w/ no one to speak to, it gets hard to keep up w/ my studies. I've taught myself French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese (Kanji), Egyptian Hieroglyphics. I wanna learn languages cuz I wanna travel around the world someday. My main interests are Japan, Africa (Specifically the NgoronGoro Crater & Valley of Kings) & Australia.
I have 2 main goals in life 1) to compete in the Iditarod Dog Sled Race in Alaska & 2) to compete & win the Discovery Eco-Challenge w/ my 3 teammates: Dr. Moore, TomKat & The Other. The Eco-Challenge is a 9 day adventure race. I doubt I'll have the time to ever do either of these, but we'll see...
In addition to working w/ animals, I'm trying to get my books & poetry published as a side career. I also would like to do voice acting & video game design as other side-careers. I also am an avid photographer & have had some of my pics published in magazine's.
I love all things Japanese, especially if it has to do w/ anime. I'm a total Otaku & semi-Hentai! I love video games & own all systems. I tend to import the "MOD"ified systems & games from Japan (AKA Hong Kong). Video games help me relax when I'm stressed, though they can be just as stressful. I have my own Ebay store called Scavenger Inc, though that's on hiatus for now.
Hidden secrets about me: My eyes are light grey as I paid a helluva alot of money to make them that way, heh. My hair is actually a blonde, red & brown mixture if you look up close to it & I didn't dye it that way, I was born like this. I have 5 tattoo's and 6 piercings though 1 of my belly piercings was rejected by my body & came out. I have 1 belly piercing left w/ a batman logo belly ring in it. My tattoo's are very well hidden. About to get 2 more tattoo's of my own design. I did a bit of modeling in my teen years, hated it but it paid semi-good ca$h. My 2 Cats have Greek names Gaia & Callisto. I also now have 4 snakes, a sunglow albino corn snake named Musa, another cornsnake named Karma, an anery charcoal corn snake named Riven, & an okeetee corn snake named Kaos.
