About Me

First I'd like to thank anyone who has taken their time to look at my site. Your support is appreciated more than you can ever know. Now, I'm a happily married man who's trying to show there's more to life than teeth and ho's. I firmly believe people are where they are in life because that's where they want to be. I think life is all a big game and it's up to us how we play it. I give no one credit for my accomplishments. I also take responsibility for everything in my life. This is the only life I know, I hope I can make the best of it. If you don't like your life, change it! It's not Bush, your teachers, your parents or your environment, it's you. I've had every excuse to be a screw up handed to me and to some people, that may be true. I love the man I am, regardless of my success. My only goal in this whole project is to get one other person to feel the same way about themselves, the rest is just a bonus. IF YOU LIKE WHAT YOU'VE HEARD, PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD, IT'S THE MOST POWERFUL WEAPON WE HAVE!I am currently looking for investors, musicians, producers, and anyone that shares a similar vision to be part of an endeavor that will change mainstream entertainment and bring substance back to our airwaves. I would love to launch something serious overseas especially. Contact me for further details.///////////////////////////////////Guy Williams, Jr. was born Christmas Day, 1978 to Mary and Guy Williams, Sr. in Detroit, Michigan. He was raised mainly by his mother in various suburbs, in what is rapidly becoming a normal childhood. Growing up he saw things most kids shouldn’t. Internalizing his feelings he acted out constantly, earning average grades and going through his education with his writing talents undiscovered. Being of bi-racial descent, he also found it difficult to be accepted by his peers in most of the communities he and his mother resided in. The lesson learned was to rise above the society taught stereotypes and start looking at everyone as equal people.Guy Williams, Jr. began writing poetry regularly in 1996, performing his works for friends, but remained reserved about his talent. In 2005, he finally gained the confidence that his style and flow were just where they needed to be and started performing at various clubs throughout Detroit. He formed a group of artists in October, 2005 which preformed at various local venues. The group parted ways in January 2006 and the members each pursued solo careers. Guy then met a talented musician and producer, Keith "Bubby" Webb, in April 2006 and began recording together immediately. In June 2006 Guy started a MySpace.com account: www.myspace.com/guywilliams2. In two short months, the previously unknown artist/page registered an incomparable 5100+ plays for just under 2200 views and received positive international feedback. Guy met another extraordinary musician through MySpace.com by the name of radar.one, a.k.a. the c., a.k.a. charles in July 2006 and began a CD project titled, “Chips In The Surface”, now available for preview at: www.myspace.com/guyandradar and available for sale at: www.sleepyverse.net. Since then, Guy has worked with several different professional musicians and continues to collaborate with artists on an ongoing basis and performing live whenever possible, entertaining audiences around the world. He is currently working with a musical genius by the name of Wex Wexford of Rhythm Rogues on a few different projects, most notably “My Head Radio” to be released sometime in 2007.////////////////////////////Photo from Dirty Show 8 performance.
