Founded in 1999 by DADDY STEVO (after collecting reggae records for twenty years),COMANCHE HI-POWER has grown to be the king reggae sound of the North Bay area.COMANCHE HI-POWER is a roots and culture sound,meaning we are concerned with the culture of Jamaica and the Caribbean (our original members are Comanche/Mexican and Jamaican) as well as being concerned with the type of message in our music. We are all either fluent speakers or avid students of the Jamaican language,so we know and care what the tunes say.If you want to know what an artist is saying on a tune,we are good people to ask!
