The Obligatory Band Bio
Greenville began in Manitowoc, Wisconsin as a songwriting project between Ryan Bahnaman and Andy Berkhout. Bahnaman and Berkhout, both in their early twenties, chose a banjo and mandolin to accompany acoustic guitars in their moving blend of folk and rock.Following the release of their self-produced debut Welcome to Greenville in June of 2006, the duo performed extensively throughout Wisconsin, including shows in Milwaukee and Madison. Greenville has also played several shows at major universities and enjoyed airplay on Wisconsin Public Radio's Simply Folk .Greenville released their second album, Streets, Statues, and Seasons, in June 2007.
