NOT BOOKING SHOWS UNTIL LATE JUNE!!!
So Long Cynical are an up and coming five-piece from the busy Guildford scene. Consisting of Tom Keech (guitar) and Matt Truseler (bass) - who were both previously part of 4 Laps Behind and The Comanche Cipher - along with Christian Babbage (vox), Tommy C (drums), and the very recent addition to the band – Dom Roe (guitar).
After Tom and Matt’s departure from hardcore act The Comanche Cipher they were looking to create a band with a much more light hearted and upbeat approach. They found their perfect partners in crime in old friends Christian and Tommy C, who shared the same drive and ambition to ignite their listeners with a refreshing relief from the "SCENE".
Together they strive to bring back melody and a positivity to the ever growing dark and depressing music scene. With powerful chorus' come striking melodies, and creative breakdowns. They look set to inject some new excitement into the UK's music scene.
ANYWAY....... Enough of all of that! We run this page ourselves so do feel free to drop by and say hey, we apologise if we cant get back to everyone as quickly as we would like but will definately make the effort to! We really appreciate the support and without that , it makes things difficult! so a big thank you! Reviews
"SLC are an upbeat, powerpop/pop punk band, and these two songs are perfect for the summer ahead! With pristine, fresh vocals and infectious choruses, it's hard not to like these guys. Unlike most bands in their genre, the music here is far more complicated and clearly shows that they are more capable of churning out the same old recycles riffs and chords every time. Sounding similar to Kids In Glass Houses but with more substance, there's no doubt SLC will, in time, be huge. While most similar bands' music is instantly forgettable, these two songs will make a lasting impression which you won't be able to forget."

"Exploding on contact with a fierce passion reminiscent of Funeral For A Friend, delivering hooks destined for enormo-domes around the world with the edge of Lost Prophets and the sheer fury of Thrice at their devastating best..."

"The shear impressiveness of vocals, musical talent and song writing ability instantly hooks deep into your skin and makes you thirsty for their exciting, eagerly anticipated 5 track E.P due later this year. Fresh, original, clean cut, and bursting with a sound that you simply must hear."
- Messamusic.co.uk
"Fresh, crisp and altogether a great addition to the modern-rock-alternative genre. Easy listening with clear vocals. So long cynical as a young aspiring band have the makings of bigger things."
